Catching up

After several requests, and quite a few demands; I have decided to again post and try to provide some indication of my whereabouts. Before I begin, let me scamper off to the kitchenette and fix myself a drink! (Yes I do on occasion scamper.... Don't you?)

Oh, still here? Alrighty then...

Anyway, of late my job has been keeping me extremely busy, and often leaves me in a constant state of fear. Now don't panic all you internationally and politically astute readers, the fear has nothing to do with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and it's worker's paradise... No In fact it is due to a far more serious and disturbing problem. The problem is the 18 to 22 year old U.S. Army Enlisted driver. Specifically those who have never driven so much as a skateboard in their lives.

Pressing on... When not placing my life in the hands of 18 year old non drivers in Korean traffic, I have been working on my novel, which while a dreadfully slow process, is coming together quite nicely. Perhaps I will have a manuscript ready soon! Damnably hard endeavor, novel writing. I may have mentioned this before. I had previously been suffering from a serious lack of inspiration of late. I believe I have discovered it again. In Monterrey Mexico. I have started writing again... Several things in fact.

On the weekends since about Christmas time '06, I have been teaching conversational to a lovely Korean woman who is very pleasant, and I have been really enjoying myself immensely with it. It pays pretty well, and it has also been lots of fun. I have met her husband and children, and I was even invited to their house for dinner.

Finally, when I am in relaxation mode, I have discovered a new addiction. Second Life! Basically this is a place where you can create, invent, discover and generally be whatever you want to be. You can create, own and run business, own property and homes, sell those items....... Far too many things to list here. It is loads of fun, very entertaining, and has been an enjoyable experience thus far.

I am currently preparing to open several businesses in world, including shoes and fashions, and a night club. The only way to truly understand is to experience it by giving it a try.  I think everyone should have a Second Life!! It's very cathartic! Give it a look!
