Are you using the latest version of Writer when attempting to follow the steps on my blog post? If you use Help | About in Writer you should see Version 1.0 (141) if you're running the latest build. If so, and it's still not working, please e-mail me at joecheng (.at.) microsoft (.dot.) com.
We'll also be releasing a newer build to make the workaround steps unnecessary. It should be within days.
